Wrinkles: Causes, treatment, and prevention

Wrinkle Treatment With the passing years, new wrinkles are added to the wrinkles in the face area. Wrinkles in the face area can occur for various reasons. Loss of skin elasticity, collagen loss or mimic lines are among the causes of wrinkle formation. Involuntary muscle contractions over the years damage collagen tissue and mimic lines turn into settled wrinkles.

Although it is not possible to completely prevent wrinkles, it is possible to delay wrinkle formation and give a smooth appearance to the skin. There are many anti-aging procedures today. While many of them are good for mild and newly forming wrinkles, many of them are effective for serious and settled wrinkles.

How is wrinkle treatment performed?

First of all, facial anatomy of the person is analyzed, and it is determined what kind of treatment is needed for the wrinkles on person's skin. Afterwards, the necessary treatment is applied at certain intervals of sessions. The treatment methods are applications to increase elastin and collagen production in the skin. Treatment methods used to achieve a vibrant, bright and smooth skin appearance provide positive benefits.

Which wrinkle treatments are applied?

1- Filling Procedures

Fillers are generally used to shape the face and sharpen the facial features. Sharp facial features make the face look aesthetic and look younger. With advancing age, sagging and collapsing occur especially in some parts of the face area. Sagged and collapsed areas can be supported with filling injection. Especially the temple, cheek and chin filling are among the filling applications that support the young appearance the most. During the aging process, the temple area loses volume. As the temples go down, this effect causes a visible narrowing of the upper part of the face and the collapse of eyebrows. With the temple filling, empty areas and unsupported areas on the temples are supported, thus the collapsed eyebrow appearance is prevented, and a more vigorous and young face appearance is obtained. In cheek and chin filling procedures, injection is made into the sagged skin and it is ensured to be supported and shaped. In addition to these procedures, nasal filling process is also used to lift dropped nasal tip and correct nasal hump. The nose area is also one of the areas that has the most impact on youthful appearance. Lip filling is one of the methods used in the lip area that is thinned by the aging effects. Fuller and impressive lips provide a young and attractive face appearance.

– How are filling procedures applied? Before starting filling procedure, the areas where filler injection will be made are cleaned with antiseptic solution. Then, it is provided to reduce pain sensitivity with local anesthetic cream. In order to increase the effect of this cream, it is waited for about 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, filler injection is made to the relevant area with fine-tipped needles.

2- Salmon DNA Vaccine

Salmon DNA vaccine treatment is an approved treatment for its efficiency, providing regeneration on the skin. Salmon DNA vaccine consists of polynucleotides obtained from salmon fish. Salmon DNA vaccine supports and strengthens the skin structure and regulate moisture balance. In addition to that, it increases tightness, elasticity and brightness of the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. Salmon DNA vaccine treatment protects the skin from harmful effects of the sun and gives a smooth, shiny, young and healthy appearance to the skin. Salmon DNA vaccine can be applied to whole face, neck and décolleté areas and primarily around the eye. Salmon DNA treatment is applied at the intervals of 1 to 3 weeks and takes 2-4 sessions.

How is salmon DNA vaccine applied?

Before salmon DNA treatment, the treatment area is cleaned with antiseptic solutions and then anesthetized with local anesthetic creams. Salmon DNA vaccine, available in ready-to-use injectors, is injected into the skin with the help of fine-tipped needles at the appropriate points in wrinkled areas.

3- Mesolifting

Mesolifting procedure is one of the most effective methods used for skin rejuvenation. Mesolifting procedure is used to remove fine lines around face and neck and improve the general youthful of the skin. Some deformations occur on the face area with aging. These deformations can be seen as wrinkles, collapses and sagging as associated with reducing supportive tissues and also some wrinkles may occur due to using mimics. Mesotherapy can be applied to face, neck and décolleté area in order to remove deformations on the face caused by aging and environmental factors. In order to meet vitamin and mineral need of the skin, regulate deformed blood circulation and replace reducing supportive tissues, mesolifting is preferred as the most effective method. mesolifting procedure is applied as 4-8 sessions at the interval of 2 weeks.

How is mesolifting applied?

Before starting mesolifting procedure, face area is cleaned with antiseptic solutions and then anesthetized with local anesthetic creams. Thus, people undergoing the process do not feel any pain. Then, an appropriate amount of mesotherapy injection is applied to the appropriate points on the face. This procedure takes 30 minutes.

4- Fractional Radiofrequency

Skin, which is negatively affected by aging, seasonal factors, air pollution, various cosmetic chemicals and challenging life conditions is damaged more rapidly than other organs. Among laser applications which are used to achieve healthy and young appearance, fractional radiofrequency has especially become popular in recent years. Fractional radiofrequency procedure that directly affects the subcutaneous area without making any effect on the skin surface ensures a bright, tight and healthy skin and gives a young appearance to the person. Radiofrequency procedure starts to show its effects from the first session and repairing effects continue after the procedure. Fractional radiofrequency procedure, one of the most effective non-surgical face tightening procedures, is applied as minimum 3 sessions and maximum 8 sessions according to the need of skin.

How is fractional radiofrequency procedure applied?

Fractional radiofrequency procedure is applied with the help of a laser device. With the fractional radiofrequency device, damage is created on the skin surface without damaging the epidermis layer. The skin, which is damaged and stimulated in a controlled manner, renews and repairs itself, thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles. As a result of this process, which takes about 25-30 minutes, rashes occur in the face area. However, these rashes are temporary and not a serious problem. You can return to daily life on the day of the procedure.

5- Spider web treatment

Spider web treatment is one of the non-surgical face lifting procedures showing the most effective and rapid results. Spider web application is based on the principle of tightening the skin by placing medical threads on wrinkled areas with mild movements. Medical threads placed on the face can dissolve spontaneously over the time. Spider web skin rejuvenation treatment can be applied to whole face, neck and décolleté area. A significant reduction is provided on the skin wrinkles after the procedure and the skin becomes shiny, bright, healthy and young. Nowadays, more easily applicable non-surgical methods are preferred rather than surgical applications. With today's technologies, quite effective results can be achieved without resorting to surgical methods.

How is spider web aesthetics applied?

Before spider web treatment, the skin is cleaned with antiseptic solutions. Afterwards, treatment area is anesthetized with anesthetic creams and thus the pain sensitivity that the person may feel is eliminated. Threads chosen according to the type of sagging in the procedure area are placed under the skin by stretching method. The process takes about 30 minutes and there is no scar on the face after the procedure. The process is a one-time procedure and its permanence can be 2 to 3 years. After the procedure, people can return to their daily lives.
